This course will prepare students for working in
a Health Information Management department
of a medical facility. The Medical
coding portion of the course will cover ICD-
10-CM, International Classification of Disease
Tenth Revision Clinical Modification Codes
and CPT-4, Current Procedural Terminology
Fourth Edition Codes. Topics include evaluation and
management, HCPCS coding and procedure modifiers.
Students will also study Medical Terminology.
Note: A $100.00 DEPOSIT IS DUE UPON ENROLLMENT AND BALANCE PAID BY FIRST CLASS MEETING.
NOTE: THIS 80 HOUR CLASS WILL SATISFY THE APPRENTICE REQUIREMENT OF TAKING THE AAPC CODING EXAM.
NOTE: You must be 18 years of age or older to enroll in this class.
NOTE: A $40.00 deposit will be required for the useage of the ICD-10-CM and CPT-4 books. Students will receive their deposit back if the books are returned within 10 days of the end of class or drop date. If the books ARE NOT returned within 10 days the student will be billed the full amount of the books....approximately $200.00.
