Phone: 5733340826 Email: firstname.lastname@example.orgThe student applying for admission into the Paramedic program must be an EMT and have completed Anatomy and Physiology I (twenty-one hour course) prior to starting the medic program. The program is designed to review the basic skills learned in the EMT program plus provide instruction in the subject of advanced life support. The course will present advanced topics such as physiology, pharmacology, I.V. therapy, patient assessment, airway management, cardiology, trauma, plus certification in ACLS, BTLS, and PEPP. The student will receive a minimum of 510 lecture/lab hours and approximately 750 hours of hospital and pre-hospital internship. This program will prepare the student to sit for the National Registry Certification Exam. Tuition includes liability insurance. A minimum $44.75 fee (may be significantly higher depending upon the states that must be checked) must be anticipated by all students for the required Criminal History Background Check. Students are responsible for their own test fees. Applications are available at the school. Financial aid must be on file at least one week prior to the first class meeting.
