Come learn what it takes to be a CASA: Court Appointed Special Advocate to give a voice to children
in foster care. This intensive 30 hour class explores and discusses the foster care system, various sociological and psychological aspects, investigating a case, and the roles of the Guardian Ad Litem, Juvenile Office and Children's Division. Between each week's in-class session is a 3 hour online portion to be completed. All materials are provided. Participants will receive a certificate of completion and have the opportunity to be sworn-in to be a CASA volunteer. MINIMUM AGE: 21.
